Innovation in Action: The fourth 5-HT Innovators Club in Heidelberg

On September 11–12, 2024, the fourth 5-HT Innovators Club gathered innovators, startups, and industry leaders in the chemistry and health sectors for an inspiring two-day event in Heidelberg. With an agenda full of thought-provoking discussions, success stories, and dynamic networking opportunities, the event once again demonstrated the power of collaboration in driving innovation.

Successful premiere of the 5-HT X-Linker 2024 at GELITA

On November 7, 2024, GELITA AG opened its doors in Heidelberg/Eberbach for the first 5-HT X-Linker with a focus on “Food & Nutrition”. The 5-HT pitching and matchmaking event, which was organized together with GELITA, offered around 50 participants - including start-ups, industry leaders and multipliers - the opportunity to discover innovations and make valuable contacts.

5-HT X-Linker „Smart Industry Connect”

On October 17, 2024, the top-class 5-HT X-Linker took place digitally under the motto “Smart Industry Connect”. Numerous guests took part in this event, which has established itself as Europe's leading platform for networking start-ups with established companies from the chemical, pharmaceutical and process industries.

Walking healthy paths together: Highlights of the 5-HT X-Linker Special 2024

On June 13, 2024, the "5-HT X-Linker Special 2024" took place in Mannheim under the motto "Walking healthy paths together". The event brought together numerous OHM managers from various industries to discuss and present innovative approaches to occupational health management (OHM). The focus was on promoting the health of employees through innovative solutions and the exchange of best practices.

Startup innovations for clinical care - successful launch at WE CARE

Clinic representatives had the opportunity to speak exclusively with the startups and exchange ideas about implementation options. In addition, the head of the Inspire Living Lab at Mannheim University Medical Center, Hannah Schlott, gave a keynote on the Collaboration with Startups in the Hospital Environment.

Focus on collaborations: review of the Insuring Digital Health anniversary event

"Insuring Digital Health" took place for the 5th time on 26 October 2023, this time under the sole organization of 5-HT in Mannheim, at CUBEX ONE. The event, which was described by participants as the highlight of the year, once again brought digital health start-ups together with leading health insurance companies to promote innovative solutions for the healthcare sector.

5-HT X-Linker „Generative AI in Chemistry & Pharma“

On October 13, 2023, the eagerly awaited 5-HT X-Linker took place digitally under the motto “Generative AI in Chemistry & Pharma”. Around 90 guests from all over the world took part in this unique event, which has established itself as Europe's leading platform for networking start-ups with established companies from the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

5-HT at the Startup BW Summit Stuttgart

Pitches, games and plenty of inspiration were on offer at the Startup BW Summit 2022 in Stuttgart! Amelie Nigbur from our 5-HT Ecosystem Team spent the day at the Digital Hub Initiative stand together with CODE_n and Digital Hub Karlsruhe. Here she not only met many familiar faces, but also got to know committed and inspiring new people.

5-HT at the Heraeus Accelerator Pitch Day

Today, step one of the Heraeus Accelerator Program 2022 for digital solutions took place: The Heraeus Accelerator Pitch Day! We as 5-HT were also involved in this: Our colleagues Alexander Böser, Max Huber and Julius Halder used their insight into the startup ecosystem and their scouting skills to collect a longlist of potentially interesting startups for the Precious Metal business unit of Heraeus (Heraeus HPM).
