eHealth-Symposium - 25 January 2023

The world is on the move: Pandemic, supply chain issues, (energy) price explosion. Healthcare in particular is continuously facing new challenges. In this context, the pressure to find effective and efficient new ways through digital solutions in healthcare is increasing. Digitalization is not an end in itself; its goal is always better medical care for doctors, clinics and patients.

The eHealth-Symposium Southwest shows and discusses in 2023 for the 6th time with an interdisciplinary audience of experts from medicine, research, business and politics with a challenging and diverse program innovative solutions, current developments and innovations in the eHealth Southwest of Germany.

Since the first event in 2018, more than 100 stakeholders have exchanged ideas annually on current and future uses of artificial intelligence, Big Data, precision medicine and other innovative ideas.

The organizers are the Business + Innovation Center Kaiserslautern (bic), Empolis Information Management GmbH, Westpfalz-Klinikum GmbH and the 5-HT Digital Hub Chemistry & Health.

Do you have an idea of your own that you would like to present? We cordially invite you to present your solution to our guests with a contribution on the following main topics:

• Digital and assistive technologies in medicine and care (e.g. digital care application, rehab support via app, clinical decision support, visitor management in hospitals, KHZG, robotics).

• Virtual reality / augmented reality / augmented intelligence in healthcare (e.g., surgery, patient therapy at home).

• Digital patient care (e.g. therapy support e.g. for cancer, cardiovascular disease, digital nursing support in hospital, doctor consultation).

The participation is certified with 6 continuing education points by the Bezirksärztekammer Pfalz.
