eHealth Symposium - 29 January 2025

The healthcare sector is constantly facing new challenges. The pressure to find effective and efficient new ways of providing healthcare using digital solutions is increasing. Digitalization is not an end in itself; its goal is to improve the lives of patients and employees in medicine and administration.

In 2025, the eHealth Symposium Southwest will present and discuss innovative solutions, current developments and novelties in the eHealth Southwest of Germany for the 8th time, with an interdisciplinary expert audience from medicine, research, business and politics and a challenging and diverse program. Since the first event in 2018, more than 120 stakeholders have come together every year to discuss the use of artificial intelligence, big data, precision medicine and other innovative methods.

The event is organized by the Business + Innovation Center Kaiserslautern (bic), Empolis Information Management GmbH, Westpfalz-Klinikum GmbH and 5-HT Chemistry & Health.

Do you have experience with an innovative solution that you would like to share with others? We cordially invite you to propose your own contribution on the following topics:

• Digital and assistive technologies in medicine and care (e.g. nursing/rehab support via app, clinical decision support, visitor management in hospitals, KHZG, robotics)

• Virtual reality / augmented reality / augmented intelligence in healthcare (e.g. for operations, patient therapy at home)

• Digital patient care (e.g. in the admission and discharge process, therapy support, e.g. for cancer, cardiovascular disease, digital care support in hospital, doctor's consultation)

We look forward to receiving a title of your presentation and an abstract of max. 250 words, alternatively max. 3 slides reflecting the character of your presentation, by 10.09.2024 at the latest to corinna.herrmann@5-ht.com.
