Purency makes microplastics visible

But how can you reliably and quickly detect the particles that are invisible to the bare eye? The software of the Viennese startup Purency, the Microplastics Finder (MPF), analyzes measurement data from FTIR & Raman microscopes based on machine learning models and identifies the type, number and size of microplastic particles within minutes, even in complex samples.

Health startup Five Lives, founded in 2019, aims to improve that with their app, which is approved as a medical device. Based in Tours, France as well as London, UK, the startup develops responsive, digital therapeutics to detect central nervous system disorders, like dementia, early and works to prevent them via lifestyle interventions.
The most innovative digital solutions for health and pharma
For the second time this year, we were able to organise a successful X-Linker and thus connect start-ups and corporates with each other. Under the motto "Digital Health for Pharma", 10 international startups presented their digital solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Pfizer Healthcare Hub called it "probably the most important matching event for startups and pharma companies in Europe" - the event was a complete success!
