Visit from the RLP Ministry of Economic Affairs to 5-HT

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming Elke Butzen-Wagner and Gero Sicheneder from Rhineland-Palatinate to our office.

Elke Butzen-Wagner, Network Manager Personalized Medicine / Life Science at the Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation Agency, and Gero Sicheneder, Health Economy Officer at the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture, had an intensive exchange with Peter Kuhn, Senior Ecosystem Manager - MedTech & AI.

Peter introduced the two representatives from Mainz to our team, how 5-HT works, what services we offer for companies in the healthcare and chemical industries and how start-ups and established companies in the healthcare sector can benefit from them.

The three of them then discussed ideas and opportunities for cooperation in order to actively strengthen the innovation landscape in Rhineland-Palatinate and beyond.

Rhineland-Palatinate already has a broad range of support services for start-ups and prospective founders, including from the scientific community. At first glance, this multitude can seem confusing and overwhelming for founders. It is therefore important to structure and, if necessary, expand these offers and networks in such a way that founders can find and make optimum use of the offers that are right for them. With the innovation agency's innohub-rlp.de, an important step has already been taken.

In the open dialog, the three have discovered many overlaps and have already established initial contacts with other network partners.
