How would you explain your solution to a healthcare professional in three sentences?

"Sentics GmbH offers an innovative software platform based on computer vision and artificial intelligence to detect and localize people, vehicles and other objects on company premises in real time. This allows vehicles to be slowed down in good time and accidents to be avoided, saving lives in production and logistics. Sentics is setting new standards in occupational safety and revolutionizing proactive risk prevention."

What problem motivated you to found the company?

"Our foundation was prompted by the fact that one person dies every second day in Europe in an accident involving a forklift truck. What's more, these accidents cost the European economy an estimated 10 billion euros per year. Personally, we have been deeply touched by the many accidents and tragic fates. Socially, we see the need to optimize working conditions and minimize the economic losses caused by accidents. Our aim is to make a positive contribution with innovative solutions and thus save lives."

How do you convince a pharmaceutical company, health insurance company, insurance company or other potential customer to set up a pilot project with you?

"The Sentics system provides the first real-time visual localization for safe and efficient industrial environments. We prevent collisions and collisions between vehicles and people while protecting the infrastructure. By using artificial intelligence, potential hazards are detected early and preventive measures are initiated. Our solution differs from others through the use of computer vision, which enables comprehensive and data protection-compliant personal protection without transponders.

With these innovative approaches, we offer potential customers clear added value: increased safety, reduced accident costs, protection of infrastructure and a more efficient working environment. Our technology is not only effective, but also easy to implement and adaptable to the specific needs of each customer. This makes us the ideal partner for pilot projects in various industries."

Who are your current customers (groups) and who are the potential customers?

"Our customers can be found wherever people and machines come together. These include the automotive industry, the packaging industry, logistics and various other sectors.

International markets: We are currently active in Germany and are planning to expand across Europe."

Where do you see yourselves in 3 years and how can 5-HT support you?

"In 3 years, we have defined all products and successfully launched them on the market. We have a successful product portfolio that is established in various industries and see ourselves as the global technology leader in computer vision in the industry.

"Our participation in the 5-HT X-linker “Innovation in Occupational Health Management” in June 2024 was extremely enriching. The event provided valuable insights into innovative approaches to promoting employee health. We were particularly impressed by the exchange with experts and other companies, which led to new ideas and collaborations. This enabled us to expand our network and generate impetus for project synergies."
