Programs

In March 2019, Prof. Dr. Martin Selchert from the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences started the new Course "Design Thinking". Here, six student teams of the Master's programme in Business Informatics work on real business tasks. Thereby, they use the Design Thinking Methodology to creatively develop innovative solutions for complex challenges.

The new program 5-HT Digital Qualifier of the Digital Hub Mannheim/Ludwigshafen Chemie & Gesundheit connects - in cooperation with SAP Next-Gen - the creative potentials of the students with real tasks of challenge providers. In this way, we are connecting the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences and the Industry to create opportunities for both sides.

The students work together directly with the employees of the company. They are supported by a project sponsor of the chosen company and Prof. Dr. Martin Selchert.

Companies can generate valuable results, students can gain important experience and further connections between companies and students can be established.

The "Design Thinking" programme takes place annually from March to June in cooperation with the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences: If you are interested, please contact us and we can jointly define your idea in a Design Challenge.

In future, we plan to carry out the Digital Qualifier with universities in the fields of health, chemistry, engineering and industrial engineering.
