The digital transformation has long been ubiquitous and also affects the healthcare sector. During their four-week stay in Germany, the participants of the delegation of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH were able to get an idea of the extent to which this has already been implemented in clinics and other care facilities in Germany.

Within this framework, the 5-HT Digital Hub Chemistry & Health organized an event last week which brought together representatives of clinics and care institutions from Eastern Europe and South America with German startups and corporates.

The event was kicked off by an introduction from Digital Hub’s Marco Majer who presented the Federal Digital Hub Initiative and the 5-HT Digital Hub Chemistry&Health.

Pascal Lindemann from LIMEJürgen Kuhn from kubicum: „Great opportunity to talk to potential foreign multipliers for our tools“Barbara Stegmann from Living BrainFabian Temme from Medicalcooling inc.: “This was a great event to present in front of representatives of foreign countries.”Johannes Woehler from EDU Medical College: “Thanks for organizing this event. It was great to discuss with medical experts from around the world how the future of medical education could look like.”

At the walking coffee with snacks, the visitors had then the opportunity for an intensive exchange with the startups and the corporates which led to valuable conversations, in some cases even to further exchanges and negotiations.

Networking & walking coffee

The participants of the delegation were very interested and gave an extremely positive feedback. Probably some of them will return as guests or with a startup at the upcoming 5-HT X-linker Startup Bootcamp in February 2020, corresponding interest from the participants has already been expressed.
